SUMMARY
The main focuses of an Architectural Millwork Engineer are taking finalized millwork shop drawings, and creating manufacturing documents and programs for production. These include CNC & Saw programs, “as built drawings,” 3d renderings, detailed instructions, paneling lay outs, veneer matching layouts, construction jigs, and any other items that aid manufacturing of custom architectural woodwork.

Location: In Person/Hybrid
Responsibilities
- Create machinery (CNC & Saw) programs and any other relevant construction documents for custom millwork and casework using AutoCAD, Microvellum, and Innergy software.
- Ensure “As-Built drawings” matches construction plan
- Collaborate with project managers to ensure design intent and project goals are met.
- Ensure project schedules, deadlines, and budgets are met.
- Communicate with the manufacturing team to ensure that production requirements are clearly understood.
- Assist in the development and maintenance of the company’s engineering standards.
- And other duties / responsibilities as assigned based on the needs of the company
Key Results
- Machine programs are accurate and need no rework at the shop floor
- Work orders are processed on time and under budget
- The shop floor trusts the information coming from the engineer
